This page tells you who we are. ABS Twin is a product. The company behind it is Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ, a Limited Liability Company licensed by Meydan Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Here you will find our full legal name, our licence and registration details, our address, and the specific addresses to write to if you want to reach our support team, raise a complaint, ask about your personal data, or report a security problem.

We make software. We are not a clinic, we are not licensed by any health authority, we give no medical or aesthetic advice, and we are not a party to anything you buy from a studio — see §4.5.

This page exists so that anyone — a studio considering ABS Twin, a customer who received a message from a studio's assistant, a regulator, a payment provider, or an app store reviewer — can identify the legal person responsible for the service and contact a human being about it. It is an identification page only: it does not create a contract, and it does not change any agreement you already have with us.

1. What this notice is, and what it is not

1.1 This Legal Notice is published by Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ ("Carnelian", "we", "us") to identify the legal person responsible for the ABS Twin platform and for the websites and applications listed above, and to satisfy the identification, licence-disclosure and contact-channel requirements of Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Executive Regulation, and Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, together with the entity-identification requirements of the app stores, messaging platforms and payment providers on which ABS Twin depends.

1.2 This notice is provided for identification only. It is not an offer, and it does not create, vary, waive or supersede any term of any agreement between Carnelian and any person — including the Master Subscription Agreement, the Order Form, the Data Processing Agreement, the Website Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy. Where this notice and any of those documents differ, that other document governs its own subject matter. This notice is not legal, medical, financial or regulatory advice to any person.

1.3 The words used on this page. This page is written in ordinary words rather than in defined terms, and nothing on it is a defined term. Where it says a studio, it means a business that subscribes to ABS Twin. Where it says a studio's customer, it means a person who deals with that studio. Where it says a person invited to use the Console, it means an individual a studio has authorised to sign in. The equivalent defined terms, and the rights and obligations attaching to them, are in the Master Subscription Agreement and the Data Processing Agreement.

2. Company identity — the canonical identity block

2.1 Legal name. Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ. The trade licence prints the suffix with full stops — "L.L.C-FZ" — and that is the spelling used in this notice, in the identity block below, and on every platform, store, banking and signature record. "Carnelian" is the short form used in the text of this page and is not the legal name.

2.1a Who can contract for ABS Twin. Only Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ contracts for ABS Twin, and only through a person authorised under §7.1. There is no affiliate, group company, regional entity or local partner authorised to contract for ABS Twin. A document is binding on Carnelian only if it is made or confirmed in writing by a person authorised under §7.1 — naming Carnelian does not of itself make a document ours. If you are unsure whether a document is genuine, contact us at the address in §3.2 before acting on it.

2.2 Legal form. Limited Liability Company. The trade licence records the company type as "Limited Liability Company", licensed in a free zone — which is what the "-FZ" in the legal name denotes.

2.3 Licensing authority. Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The licence is issued under the Meydan Free Zone regulations.

2.3a Verification of our licence. The licence document carries a QR code, printed on the licence itself, by which the licence can be verified; the licence is issued under the Meydan Free Zone regulations (§2.3). The issuing authority publishes no online verification page at the date of this version; a link to one is added here when it does.

2.4 Trade licence number. 2415615.01.

2.5 Licence issue and expiry dates. Issued 26 January 2024. Expires 25 January 2027.

2.6 Commercial registration number. The trade licence records formation number 2415615, against which the licence number in §2.4 is issued. No separate commercial registration number is printed on the licence.

2.7 Licensed activities. The trade licence lists three activities: 4790.00 — E-Commerce; 6200.00 — Computer programming, consultancy and related activities; and 7020.99 — Innovation & Artificial Intelligence Research & Consultancies.

2.8 Addresses. Registered address: Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. — the address printed on the trade licence. Correspondence address: the same address. Carnelian has one address: the licensed address, the address for correspondence and the address for service of documents are all the address above.

2.9 Tax registration. Carnelian is not currently registered for UAE VAT, and no Tax Registration Number (TRN) has been issued to it. Fees are quoted and charged exclusive of VAT, and VAT will be added only if and when Carnelian becomes registered. Until then the documents Carnelian issues are commercial invoices, not tax invoices. Carnelian monitors its rolling twelve-month taxable supplies against the mandatory registration threshold, and its supplies and taxable expenses against the voluntary threshold; voluntary registration is under evaluation with Carnelian's tax adviser.

2.10 D-U-N-S number. None held at the date of this version.

2.11 Authorised representative. Syed Sharique Ali, recorded as Manager on the trade licence and authorised to represent Carnelian.

3. How to reach us

3.1 General enquiries and correspondence Postal address: Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ, Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. (see §2.8). Telephone: +971 56 498 4007 — a staffed number answered by a person. No staffed hours are published for this number, and none are to be inferred from its publication. Email: info@contact.abstwin.com — the general and product contact address for ABS Twin. Each written route in §§3.2–3.6 has its own address, given in that paragraph; support@carnelian.tech, the company-level mailbox of Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ, remains a valid alternative route to any of them. 3.2 Legal notices. legal@contact.abstwin.com, with a copy by courier or registered post to the correspondence address in §2.8. Notices under an executed agreement must be given in the manner that agreement specifies; this address does not replace it.

3.3 Privacy, data protection and data-subject requests. privacy@contact.abstwin.com — it reaches the Data Protection Officer. Syed Sharique Ali, Manager of Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ, is the appointed Data Protection Officer, with effect from 21 August 2026. He is reached at dpo@contact.abstwin.com, at privacy@contact.abstwin.com for a request or complaint, at support@carnelian.tech marked "for the attention of the Data Protection Officer", or by post at the correspondence address in §2.8. The PDPL gives a data subject the right to communicate with the officer directly, and that right is not filtered or refused: mail sent to any of those addresses reaches him. The UAE Data Office has not yet published the channel through which a controller notifies its officer's contact details; the notification will be made as soon as that channel is published, and this paragraph and the identity block below are the published statement of those details in the meantime.

Who decides what, and therefore who you should write to. Where Carnelian decides how and why personal data is used — our websites, our own enquiries and studio applications, and interactions with our demonstration service — you may contact us at the address above and we will handle your request, and you may communicate directly with the person responsible for data protection. Where a studio uses ABS Twin to serve its own customers, that studio decides how and why its customers' data is used, and Carnelian only processes it on that studio's instructions: address your request to the studio. If you send such a request to us, we will forward it to the studio promptly and tell you that we have done so; we cannot decide it ourselves. How we handle personal data, and how a studio's customer or a person invited to use the Console exercises their rights, is set out in the Privacy Policy and, for a studio's own customers, in the Data Processing Agreement.

Deletion and account-closure requests may be made in writing to the privacy address above.

3.4 Security and vulnerability reports. security@contact.abstwin.com. We accept reports about the domains listed in §5.1 and the ABS Twin mobile applications. We do not accept reports about any other system, or about a studio's own systems. This is a reporting route only. Nothing on this page authorises any person to access, test, probe, scan or interfere with any system, account or data, and no permission to do so is given or implied. Please report what you observe without accessing, modifying, downloading, retaining or disclosing any data belonging to a studio or to a studio's customer. We will not pursue a good-faith reporter who follows this request, but we cannot waive any right of a studio, of any other person, or of any authority. We do not currently operate a paid bug-bounty programme. The same address will be published in machine-readable form at https://abstwin.com/.well-known/security.txt. We aim to acknowledge a report within two business days of receipt. Further detail is at https://abstwin.com/legal/security.

3.5 Support. Studios and the people they invite to use the Console should raise support requests through the in-Console support route or at https://abstwin.com/contact. Support mailbox: info@contact.abstwin.com, marked "Attn: Support" — that mailbox serves more than one purpose, so the attention line is what routes it. support@carnelian.tech also reaches us. Support hours: 09:00–21:00 Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4), Monday to Friday.

3.6 Complaints. Telephone: +971 56 498 4007 — the same staffed number as in §3.1, answered by a person. No staffed hours are published for this number, and none are to be inferred from its publication. Complaints may be sent in writing to info@contact.abstwin.com, marked "Attn: Complaints" — that mailbox serves more than one purpose, so the attention line is what routes it. A billing query is sent to the same address marked "Attn: Billing". Complaints may also be sent by post to the correspondence address in §2.8. How we log, track and resolve a complaint, and the target for a first substantive response, are set out in our Complaints Handling Policy.

3.7 The demonstration number published on our website is answered by an AI assistant. The number +971 4 329 4347 is the demonstration line for the ABS Twin service, and is a different number from the staffed enquiries line in §3.1. Calls to it, and messages sent to it, are handled by an AI assistant operated by Carnelian in Carnelian's own demonstration studio.

Who is responsible for the data. Interactions in the course of a demonstration are processed by Carnelian as controller. Where the number carries a studio's own customer traffic, that studio is the controller and Carnelian is its processor; see the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.

AI disclosure. On a call, the assistant identifies itself as an AI in the opening words of the call. On a messaging conversation the assistant is configured never to present itself as a human being, and to confirm plainly and promptly that it is an AI if asked. That reactive limb is the whole of what is stated here: no affirmative AI identification is made in the first message of a new messaging thread, and this page does not represent that one is. The set-wide statement of that position is clause 3.2.1 of the AI & Recording Disclosure, which governs.

What the assistant says. What the assistant says is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Information it gives about ABS Twin, its capabilities, availability or pricing is not advice of any kind, is not a formal quotation, and is not a commitment binding on Carnelian. Where the assistant books, changes or cancels an appointment in our demonstration studio, it does so for real: you will receive a confirmation and may cancel it in the same conversation. Prices, availability and policies are confirmed by us in writing before anything is due from you, and anything that matters should be confirmed with a person before it is relied on. If you want a person, ask the assistant for a human at any time, or use the channel in §3.1.

Calls to this number are not audio-recorded. What is kept is a written transcript of the conversation — the record of what the assistant and the caller said to each other — retained so that what was communicated can be evidenced afterwards. The equivalent notice is given at the point of use, and the retention position is explained, in the AI & Recording Disclosure; what is retained from those interactions, and on what basis, is also explained in the Privacy Policy. This is not the complaints channel; for complaints use the channel in §3.6.

4. Product and brand

4.1 ABS Twin is a product of Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ. "ABS Twin" is the name of the platform; "Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ" is the company that publishes, operates and contracts for it. ABS Twin is not a legal person and is not a party to any agreement.

4.2 ABS Twin is a booking and customer-communication system that a beauty or wellness studio uses to manage appointments and to communicate with that studio's own customers by telephone, by WhatsApp and through the studio's own consoles.

Instagram direct messaging is in testing and is not available in production. It is not a channel of the service today, it is not offered or sold as one, and it will be announced here when it becomes available.

4.3 Within ABS Twin, the assistant that speaks to a studio's customers operates in that studio's name and under that studio's configuration, and is given a name chosen by the studio. The assistant's name is not the name of Carnelian, is not a separate legal person, and does not indicate that the studio's customer is dealing with Carnelian. The assistant's name is also not the studio's messaging display name, which is the studio's own business name and is approved by the messaging platform. The studio remains responsible for its own services, prices, policies and legal obligations towards its customers.

What an assistant says in a studio's name. What an assistant says is generated automatically from the configuration and information the studio provides. It may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. The studio is responsible for the content of communications sent in its name, for the accuracy of the information it configures, and for the notices and consents its own customers require. Carnelian gives no warranty as to the content of those communications. See the AI & Recording Disclosure and the Master Subscription Agreement.

4.4 Trade marks and content. "ABS Twin", "Carnelian", and the Carnelian and ABS Twin names and logos are owned by Carnelian or used by Carnelian under licence. The ABS Twin platform software, the content of the public website at abstwin.com, and the design and interfaces of the Console and the Staff App are Carnelian's. Content that a studio provides or generates through the service — its customers' data, its catalogue, prices, policies, images and brand — remains that studio's, and Carnelian uses it only to provide the service under the agreement with that studio. Nothing on this page grants any licence to use anything owned by Carnelian. Third-party names and marks appearing on our sites belong to their respective owners.

4.5 What Carnelian is not. Without limiting anything in the Master Subscription Agreement:

(a) Carnelian is a software company. It is not a healthcare provider, a health facility, a clinic, a pharmacy, a laboratory or a medical device manufacturer.

(b) Carnelian is not licensed or registered by the Dubai Health Authority, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi or any other health regulator in any jurisdiction, and does not hold itself out as being so licensed.

(c) Carnelian provides no medical, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, dermatological, cosmetic, aesthetic, nutritional, psychological or other professional service to any person, gives no advice of that kind, and makes no assessment of any person's health, suitability or fitness for any treatment. ABS Twin is not designed or permitted to be used to give advice of any of those kinds, and nothing an assistant says is such advice or may be relied on as such. Studios are prohibited from configuring an assistant to give clinical, diagnostic or treatment-suitability advice (see the Master Subscription Agreement and the Restricted / Health Data Addendum) and must route such questions to a licensed practitioner.

(d) Carnelian is not a party to, and takes no position in, any transaction between a studio and that studio's customer. Carnelian does not supply, perform, supervise, endorse or guarantee any treatment or service a studio offers, does not set a studio's prices or policies, and does not receive the price of any such treatment or service. Each studio is solely responsible for the services it provides, for holding the licences and professional registrations those services require, and for its own obligations to its customers.

(e) Carnelian is not a bank, a payment institution, a money-services business, an insurer or a provider of any regulated financial service. Payments for a subscription to ABS Twin are processed by a third-party payment provider; see the Billing & Tax Invoice Terms.

(f) ABS Twin is not designed for, and is not offered for, the processing of health data or for use by licensed health facilities. Where a studio's use may involve information of that kind, separate written terms apply — see the Restricted / Health Data Addendum referred to in the Master Subscription Agreement.

(g) Carnelian is not a studio's legal, compliance or regulatory adviser. Subscribing to ABS Twin does not discharge any obligation a studio owes under data-protection, telecommunications and marketing, health-sector, consumer or licensing law.

(h) ABS Twin is not a general-purpose AI assistant, a general chatbot service or a search service.

5. Websites, domains and who operates them

5.1 Carnelian is the operator of each of the following domains. Use of the marketing website, and of the public application and support forms wherever they are hosted, is governed by the Website Terms of Use; use of the Console and the Staff App by a studio and the people it invites is governed by the Master Subscription Agreement and the documents it incorporates.

Carnelian also operates non-production test environments on separate hostnames. They are not part of the service, are not for use by any person other than Carnelian, and are not to be used with live data. Those hostnames are not published.

5.2 The ABS Twin mobile applications for iOS and Android, where published, are published by Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ under the same legal name as in §2.1.

5.3 Hosting and technical operation. The websites and applications listed above are hosted and served by our hosting provider, and the platform depends on a number of third-party providers for messaging, telephony, artificial-intelligence processing, identity, storage and payments. Those providers operate under their own terms. Carnelian does not control their availability, policies, rate limits, message-template approvals, quality ratings or account actions. Where a service level or a contractual consequence attaches to an event of that kind, it is dealt with in the Master Subscription Agreement and the Service Level Agreement & Support Policy, not in this notice. The current list of those providers, what each of them does, and what data each of them handles, is published and kept up to date in the Public Sub-processor List. No provider is named on this page. The hosting provider is not named here and neither is any other: every provider, its role, its contracted entity name and its processing location are held once, in the Public Sub-processor List, so that a role-named page here cannot go stale against the operative list.

5.4 Territories. ABS Twin is offered to studios in the United Arab Emirates only at launch. Where we begin to offer the service in another jurisdiction, this page is updated before we do so, and any local registration, representative or filing that jurisdiction requires is completed and published here.

6. Supervision, regulators and external complaint routes

6.1 Licensing. Carnelian is licensed by the authority named in §2.3 and is subject to that authority's rules and regulations for its licensees.

6.2 Consumer and e-commerce supervision. Carnelian's activities as a supplier and as a digital merchant are supervised by the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism (formerly the Ministry of Economy) and by the competent authority for the Emirate of Dubai.

Who we deal with. Carnelian deals with consumers through its public website and its demonstration service. Subscriptions to ABS Twin are supplied to licensed businesses for the purposes of their trade, and the terms on which they are supplied are set out in the Master Subscription Agreement and the Order Form.

Raising a complaint. We ask that any complaint be raised with us first, through the channel in §3.6, so that we have an opportunity to resolve it. Doing so does not affect any right to complain to a regulator or to bring proceedings, and it does not replace, extend or suspend any notice period or pre-action step under an agreement in force between us. A consumer who is not satisfied after raising a complaint with us may escalate it to the competent authority: — the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, through the consumer-complaint channel it publishes from time to time; and — the competent authority of the Emirate of Dubai, through the consumer-complaint channel that authority publishes from time to time. We give the current route for either on request. We do not print a helpline number or an online address here until we have checked that it answers, because a complaint route that does not answer is worse than none.

6.3 Data protection. Carnelian is subject to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and to any successor or amending instrument. A data subject who is not satisfied with how we have handled a request or a complaint about personal data may complain to the UAE Data Office. We give the Data Office's current contact route on request, and we publish it at this paragraph once we have confirmed it is operational — the complaint procedure is among the matters the unissued Executive Regulations are expected to set, and we will not print a contact route we have not checked answers. Where a studio is established in, or its processing is subject to, the DIFC or ADGM regimes, the relevant supervisory authority for that studio's own processing is the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection or the ADGM Office of Data Protection respectively. Where a studio is established outside the United Arab Emirates, the supervisory authority for that studio's own processing is the authority of its own state, and the terms applicable to that jurisdiction are those in the country addendum for it — no such addendum exists today, which is why §5.4 restricts where the service is offered. 7. Authority to act for Carnelian

7.1 Only the authorised representative named in §2.11, and any person expressly authorised in writing by Carnelian, may enter into, vary or terminate an agreement on behalf of Carnelian.

7.2 Sales agents and referral partners introducing ABS Twin are independent contractors. They are not employees or agents of Carnelian for the purpose of binding it, they have no authority to make representations, give warranties, agree discounts beyond published offers, or accept money on our behalf, and nothing they say or write binds Carnelian unless it is confirmed by Carnelian in writing. See the Sales Agent / Referral Agreement.

7.3 Statements made on this page or elsewhere on our websites about the service are subject to the Website Terms of Use and to the Service Description and Known Limitations Annex referenced in the Master Subscription Agreement.

8. App stores, platform records and territory

8.1 Where ABS Twin applications are distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the developer of record is Carnelian Technologies L.L.C-FZ, and the developer name shown in each store listing is the same legal name as in §2.1.

8.2 The entity details Carnelian submits to business-verification, messaging, app-store and payment platforms are taken from §2 and Annex A of this notice, and are reconciled to them at each review under §9.3.

8.3 Territory. The ABS Twin applications are made available in the app-store territories of the United Arab Emirates only at launch.

If the applications are made available in any European Union territory, a verified trader block — the registered address, a telephone number and an email address, each verified by the store — is added to this page and to each store product page before submission, and the Staff App Privacy Notice is updated to match. That is a condition of EU distribution, not a step that can follow it.

9. Accuracy, updates and version control

9.1 Keeping this page accurate. We take reasonable care to keep the fields in §2 and Annex A accurate and complete, we review them under §9.3, and we correct any inaccuracy promptly after becoming aware of it. If any information on this page is or becomes inaccurate, please tell us at the address in §3.1 so that we can correct it. The version and effective date of this notice appear in the footer at the foot of this page; each substantive change increments the version number, and we retain each superseded version and will provide one on request.

9.2 Material changes to this notice — in particular a change of legal name, legal form, licensing authority, address or licence number — will be reflected here and, where they affect an agreement in force, notified in accordance with that agreement.

9.3 Review cadence. This page is reviewed on or before the renewal date of the trade licence identified in §2.4, and in any event at least once a year. It is also reviewed on any change to the trade licence, on issuance of the UAE PDPL Executive Regulations, and before any store submission or platform verification that relies on it. Each review includes reconciling the entity records held at the business-verification, messaging, app-store and payment platforms against §2 and Annex A (§8.2).

10. Precedence, accuracy and savings

10.1 The identity fields. The identity, licence, registration, address and contact fields set out in §2 and reproduced in Annex A are published because we are required to publish them and to keep them up to date. We take reasonable care to keep them accurate and complete, we correct them promptly under §9, and they are correct to the best of our knowledge at the effective date shown.

10.1a The rest of this page is a summary. The remainder of this page — the plain-language summary and the explanatory and descriptive passages, including §4's description of the product and §5's description of what each website is for — is a summary only. It does not state the terms on which we supply anything. Where this page and any document listed in §1.2 differ, that document governs, and the summary here is to be read subject to it. Any website, page or resource operated by a third party to which this page links is outside our control, and we do not adopt its content as our own.

10.2 Savings clause. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits any liability, or any right or remedy, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws applicable to it — including any liability for fraud, any liability for a harmful act which may not lawfully be excluded or limited, and any mandatory right of a consumer or of a data subject. Every limitation in this notice is to be read as applying only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and if any part of it is held to be unenforceable, that part is to be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable rather than struck out in whole.

10.3 This notice does not limit, and is not to be read as limiting, any obligation Carnelian owes under an agreement in force between Carnelian and any person.

10.4 How a claim founded on this page is dealt with. Where a person has an agreement in force with Carnelian, any claim by that person arising out of or in connection with this notice — including any claim founded on the accuracy of the fields in §2 or Annex A — is subject to the limitations, exclusions, aggregation and notification provisions of that agreement (for a studio and the people it invites to use the Console, the Master Subscription Agreement) as if the claim arose under that agreement. For any other person, the limitations in the Website Terms of Use apply. Clause 10.2 applies to this clause.

11. Governing law and forum

11.1 This notice, and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with it, is governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai as applicable in it.

11.2 The courts of Dubai have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this notice.

11.3 Clauses 11.1 and 11.2 do not affect any mandatory right that any person has to bring proceedings before, or to complain to, another court, authority or forum under a law that cannot be varied by agreement, and they do not apply to any agreement between Carnelian and a studio: the governing law and forum for the ABS Twin service are those stated in the Master Subscription Agreement and the Order Form, which prevail over this clause for their own subject matter. Those documents select DIFC law — expressly extended to non-contractual claims — with the DIFC Courts by express opt-in. That election governs a studio's subscription; it does not govern this notice, and it does not affect any mandatory right or forum preserved by this §11.3.

12. Language

12.1 This notice is published in English and Arabic together. The Arabic text is prepared and reviewed by an Arabic-qualified UAE lawyer before publication.

12.1.1 Publication precondition. This notice is not published at all until a legally reviewed Arabic text exists. 12.2 From the date on which the reviewed Arabic version is published at this URL — the date printed on the published Arabic text — where both versions are published they are intended to have the same meaning; where they cannot be reconciled, the Arabic version prevails, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
